8 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari and Zanzibar

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your experienced driver-guide. After confirming all your belongings, you will be offered bottled water or cold drinks and taken directly to the River Tree Country Inn in Arusha for leisure and relaxation at your own pace. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

At 8:30 am, embark on a journey to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game drives and wildlife viewing. Renowned for its large herds of elephants and majestic baobab trees, the park also hosts wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, and many more species. Enjoy lunch at a picnic spot within the park. After an exciting day, head to Ngorongoro Farm House for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater

Depart early for a day of exploration in the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Descend into the crater for game drives and lunch at a picnic site. Witness the diverse wildlife including the endangered black rhinoceros, lions, elephants, and many more. After a full day of adventure, ascend the crater and return to Ngorongoro Farm House for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Karatu to Lake Manyara, then Fly to Zanzibar

At 8:00 am, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning of game drives. This park, known for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos, offers a diverse range of habitats and wildlife. After lunch, drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for a late flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer to Nungwi Dream Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Days 5-7: Beach Holiday in Zanzibar

Spend these days at your leisure on the stunning beaches of Zanzibar. Relax on the sandy shores, or opt for activities such as dhow or boat cruises, spice tours, Stone Town tours, snorkeling, and more. The hotel can arrange these activities at an additional cost.

Zanzibar, known as the Spice Island, offers a unique blend of exotic beaches, spice plantations, and rich history. Its idyllic geography and vibrant culture make it a perfect place to explore and unwind.

Day 8: Departure

Enjoy your morning at leisure before being transferred to the airport for your flight back home. After a journey filled with thrilling safaris and relaxing beach days, it’s time to return with memories that will last a lifetime.
