Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly greeted by your experienced professional driver-guide. After ensuring all your belongings are accounted for, you’ll be offered refreshing bottles of mineral water or cold drinks. From here, you’ll enjoy a private transfer to Ilboru Safari Lodge in Arusha.

Once at the lodge, you can unwind and relax at your own pace, enjoying the leisure and tranquility it offers. Your stay includes bottled water, bed, and breakfast, setting the perfect tone for the start of your 6-day Tanzania Safari and Cultural Tour. Enjoy your evening at leisure, with dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park for Game Drives

Today, you’ll journey to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast herds of elephants and diverse wildlife. The park’s landscape features majestic baobab trees and the Tarangire River, home to buffaloes, giraffes, gazelles, impalas, crocodiles, and hippos.

With your professional driver-guide, you’ll embark on thrilling game drives to spot lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards. Tarangire is also a bird-watcher’s paradise with over 500 species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your wildlife adventure. After an exciting day, you’ll head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara for Game Drives and Lake Eyasi

At 8:30 AM, leave the lodge with packed lunches and drive to Lake Manyara for game drives. Explore this small, stunning park with diverse habitats and abundant wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, and the famous tree-climbing lions. Enjoy lunch at a picnic spot in the park. Later, proceed to Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge. (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.)

Day 4: Full Day of Cultural Activities with Hadzabe Tribe

Spend the day exploring the culture of the Hadzabe tribe, participating in traditional hunting, nature walks, and learning about their history and lifestyle. After a day of cultural immersion, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Tortilis Tented Camp. (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.)

Day 5: Game Drives in Ngorongoro Crater and Transfer to Arusha

Enjoy morning game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater, home to diverse wildlife, including big cats and the endangered black rhinoceros. Have lunch at a picnic site in the crater. Afterward, drive to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Ilboru Safari Lodge. (Breakfast and Lunch included.)

Day 6: Airport Drop Off for Your Flight Back Home

Relax at leisure depending on your flight schedule. Your driver-guide will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of our services. (Breakfast included.)
