Your unforgettable 7-day Tanzania Northern Circuit Safari begins with your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). This incredible journey will take you through the renowned northern circuit national parks: Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro.

7 Days Tanzania Northern Circuit Safari Itinerary.

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly greeted by your professional driver-guide. After confirming your belongings, enjoy some refreshing mineral water or cold drinks. You will then be transferred to the Gold Crest Hotel in Arusha for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at Four Points by Sheraton.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park for Game Drives

At 8:30 AM, embark on a drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives. This small, beautiful park at the base of the Great Rift Valley features an alkaline lake that attracts flamingos and aquatic birds. The park’s diverse habitats include acacia woodlands and grassy floodplains, home to elephants, giraffes, tree-climbing lions, zebras, wildebeests, and many bird species. Enjoy lunch at a picnic point inside the park. Later, transfer to Acacia Farm Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro

Drive across the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park, stopping at Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint and a Maasai traditional boma for a cultural tour. Experience Maasai history, culture, and traditions. Enjoy lunch at Serengeti Naabi Hill gate, then proceed with game drives to Serengeti Kubukubu Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drives in Serengeti National Park

Spend the day exploring Serengeti National Park with its dramatic scenery and diverse wildlife. Spot elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, and many other animals. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. Return to Kubukubu Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti Game Drives en Route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, embark on game drives with packed lunches en route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Optionally, enhance your experience with a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti plains (extra charge). This adventure offers stunning views of the landscape and wildlife. After landing, enjoy a toast and continue with game drives. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 6: Game Drives in Ngorongoro Crater, Transfer to Arusha

Enjoy morning game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater, home to a diverse range of wildlife, including big cats and the endangered black rhinoceros. Explore the crater floor and have lunch at a picnic site. Afterward, drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Four Points by Sheraton.

Day 7: Airport Drop-Off for Your Flight Back Home

Spend the day at leisure depending on your flight schedule. Your driver-guide will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure. Reflect on the incredible experiences and memories as you fly back home.
