Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your experienced professional driver-guide will warmly welcome you. After ensuring all your belongings are accounted for, you’ll be offered bottled water or cold drinks before a private transfer to your hotel in Arusha for leisure, dinner, and overnight stay. This marks the beginning of your 12 Days Tanzania Safari and Cultural Tour.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park for Game Drives

At 8:30 am, depart for Tarangire National Park for thrilling game drives and wildlife viewings.

Overnight at Marera Valley Lodge. Lunch, dinner, bed, and breakfast included.

Tarangire National Park, spanning 2,850 km², is known for its open woodlands dotted with majestic baobab trees and abundant wildlife. The park is renowned for its large herds of elephants, wildebeests, and zebras, along with other species such as buffaloes, giraffes, and gazelles. Enjoy lunch at the picnic point inside the park before authentic wildlife game drives. Later, transfer to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire to Manyara for Biking Tour. Overnight in Lake Eyasi

After breakfast, drive to Manyara for an exciting biking tour through the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu to the shore of Lake Manyara, offering stunning vistas of the lake and Rift Valley Wall. Lunch at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge. Overnight at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge.

Biking tour offers a unique opportunity to explore the village and its beautiful sights, including local farms, schools, and more. Alternatively, bike to the shore of Lake Manyara to spot wildlife and enjoy the scenery. Later, transfer to Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full Day of Cultural Activities with Hadzabe Tribe

Dedicated to exploring the culture of the Hadzabe tribe and their neighbors, the Datoga. Activities include traditional hunting, nature walks, and learning about their history and traditions. Later, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for overnight at Ngorongoro Tortilis Tented Camp.

Day 5: Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park

Morning game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater with packed lunch boxes, then drive to Serengeti. Overnight at Serengeti Tortilis Tented Camp.

Days 6-7: Full Day Game Drives Serengeti National Park

Enjoy game drives at your own pace, with options for morning and afternoon drives. Overnight at Serengeti Tortilis Tented Camp.

Day 8: Game Drives in Serengeti NP en Route to Lake Natron

Early morning game drives before departing for Lake Natron. Overnight at Africa Safari Lake Natron Camp.

Days 9-10: Full Day Nature Excursions in Lake Natron

Explore Lake Natron with activities such as nature walks, visiting waterfalls, and experiencing the local Maasai culture. Overnight at Safari Lake Natron Camp.

Day 11: Lake Natron to Lake Manyara for Game Drives

Drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives and wildlife viewing. Overnight at Burudika Manyara Lodge.

Day 12: Airport Drop Off for Your Flight Back Home

Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home, marking the end of your 12 Days Tanzania Safari and Cultural Tour. Optional stop at a local curio shop for souvenirs.
